Nigerian Navy Secondary School (NNSS) Kuje is the only NNSS in Abuja general area. It commenced academic activities on 13 October 2021. The School is located in NN Barracks Kuje Pegni Village of Kuje Local Government Area of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. The School was planned to be a boarding school, but due to inadequate boarding facilities, it commenced as a day school pending the provision of the required facilities. The School strength at the commencement of academic activities was 77 students comprising 40 girls  and 37 boys. The staff strength comprised of officers, ratings and civilian staff. Others were youth corps members teaching practice and IT students. The current Commandant of the school is Commander OGS Bolade. The School has a modern computer lab equipped with latest computers, projector and scanner for teaching and learning purposes. Additionally, the lab is provided with solar inverter as source of power supply backup. As the world is fast growing in modern technology, NNSS Kuje is not left behind as it introduces its students to ICT training. One of the ICT training areas is CISCO training, manned by professional teachers.  In the CISCO training program, students are exposed to learning programming languages, networking, software development and many more.
