The Nigerian Navy Secondary School Okura-Lafia is a co-      educational school located in the out skirt of Okura-Lafia Town along the Anyigba Ankpa Federal Highway in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State. The School has a landmass of 116.2 acres of land covered with  beautiful vegetation and structures for a conducive learning environment.

 

  Navy Captain IA Ahmed was the pioneer Commandant and   Lieutenant Commander OO Owolabi was the pioneer Deputy Commandant. NNSS Okura commenced academic activities on 27 September 2015 with   387 pioneer students consisting of JSS1 and 2 with a total of 66 civilian staff members
